Morris Marcovici
Morris (Moritz or Moise) Marcovici was born in Iasi, Romania. Iasi is also referred to as Jassy. He owned a butcher shop in Iasi and was married to Rebecca (née Solomon) and was the father of Marcu , Lupu and Brucha/Beatrice Marcovici. Morris lived in Iasi his entire life and I found a record of his burial in the Iasi cemetery at the Jewish Community archives in Iasi. Morris was my great-great grandfather.
