Josif Weisman and Brondela (Brana) Weisman (née Kitai)
Josif Weisman and Brondela Weisman (née Kitai) were my great-great grandparents and the parents of my great-grandmother, Paulina Marcovici (néeWeisman). They owned a hardware store in Piatra Neamt, Romania. Josif and Brondela had seven children, Benedictina, Bernard, Norbert, Paulina, Speranza, Oscar and Rebecca.
After discovering my cousin Yael Goffman in Israel, the great-granddaughter of Pauline's sister Speranza, I found out more information about Brondela and Josif: My cousin told me that Brondela's maiden name was Kitai, her father (my great-great-great grandfather) was Hillel Kitai, and his father (my great-great-great-great grandfather) was Joshua Kitai. Josif Weissman's mother's name (my great-great-great grandmother) was Raizel!
