Benedictina Finklestein and entire family with husband and daughter in law
Benedictina was married to Osias Finklestein. Her son, Henry changed his last name to Flavian, and lived in Paris, France moving to Israel after the war. Benedictina's great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren live in Israel and the United States.
May, 2021: I heard that Benedictina survived the second world war in Romania with her family by hiding in a convent, but have not verified that information. My cousin in Israel also told me that Benedictina was married to Solomon Finklestein. Benedictina's son Henry moved to Paris and changed his name to "Flavian". My mother recalls meeting Henry Flavian there. Benedictina's daughter Helena moved to Israel after the war and her children, grand children and great-grandchildren live in Israel. Another daughter, Sylvia moved to the United States and her descendents live in New Jersey. Benedictina had two other daughters--Sophia? and Anna?. I don't have any information about their stories.
