Bernhard and Rochelle ("Riesel") Weisman
Bernhard Weisman was Pauline's brother. Bernhard and Rochelle had four children, Hillel, Zachariah, Peter and Traian (Chaim). Bernhard and Rochelle lived in Piatra Neamt, Romania. Zacharia had two children, Retta and Nelu; Traian had three children, Yosef, Rachel and Chana. I met Rachel and Chana in Israel in 2022, and if you return to my story you can read more about that meeting.
Sitting in the back of the "car" prop was Rebecca Weisman, Pauline's sister who was married to Israel Kimmel.
April 2021: This is the new information about Bernhard from Speranza's great-granddaughter's family tree: Bernhard's name was "Dov Bernard" and he was married twice. Bernhard was born in 1865 and died on October 14, 1948. Bernhard's first wife was Henrietta. We don't know the names of their son and daughter, but they had a grandson named Lionel Nello Weisman. Bernhard next was married to "Rochelle" or Rachel (née Kahana). Rochelle was born in 1877 and died on Dec 29 1942. I understood from my Aunt Henrietta that Rochelle's Yiddish name was Riesel. Bernhard and Rochelle's son, Chaim Traian Weisman was born in Piatra Neamt, Romania in 1913. Chaim Traian immigrated to Israel and was married to Zirl Ghelber. They had a son and two daughters. Their son, the grandson of Bernhard was Josef Dov Weissman, who died in a terrorist attack in Israel in 1978, I met their daughters, Rachel and Chana in Jerusalem, Israel in April of 2022. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Bernhard and Rochelle live in Israel today.
