Bitza (Beatrice) and baby Michy
This is Bitza one of Marco's neices. The verso of Michy's photo is in postcard format, addressed to "Marcu Marcovici" from his neice, introducing her son, Michy. Initially, I did not know anything about Bitza or Michy, until I met Yael, Bitza's granddaughter and the great-granddaughter of Speranza, my great-grandmother's sister. Yael explained that she spent time with her uncle Michy (portrayed here as an infant) and learned more details about our family, which you can browse here and learn more in my story.
