Land Acknowledgment
I would like to acknowledge and respect the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples on whose unceded traditional territory I live and work and the Songhees, SXIMEȽEȽ (Esquimalt) and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples whose unrelinquished historical relationships with the land continue to this day. I am grateful for the honour and safety of living, working, raising my children and teaching my grandchildren to cherish and protect the traditional territories of the many Coast Salish peoples.
