My four grandparents hailed from different places, and I am only gradually able to find information about their journeys. Here I have been focusing on my maternal grandparents' family--Paulina and Marcu from Romania. Here are Marcu, Paulina and their first three children (Henrietta is the youngest who was born in New York) about 4 or 5 years after they arrived in New York.
Paulina traveled from Romania with Hymie, Harry and Helen, Henrietta, Oscar and Jerome were born in the USA. The youngest in this photograph is Oscar as Jerome was born later.
