Provenance: Photographs inside Weissmann-Marcovici photo album. Photographs brought or mailed from Romania to New York to be given to Marcu and Paulina Marcovici and placed in the photo album. The Marcovici name changed to Markowitz upon immigration to the United States.
Album then given to Paulina's daughter Helen Gold (nee Markowitz), who lived in New York, NY, Allentown, PA and Miami Beach, Florida. Album then given to Barbara Bauer and then brought to Victoria BC Canada so that Barbara's daughter Julia Herzog could help preserve the photo album and research family members.
