The Modern Language Association awarded Texas A&M a grant to publish digitally and make available open access the New Variorum Shakespeare, "New" when the first edition in the series was published in 1873! Working with designer Anne Burdick and programmer Bryan Tarpley, we have tried to demystify Variorum codes as well as implement "generous" searching. We will present the NVS Beta site and welcome Twitter comments.
